Training

We frequently work with and mentor medical students from Harvard Medical School and residents from the Cambridge Health Alliance Internal Medicine Residency Training Program on research projects, and their work has routinely appeared in high-profile medical journals.

The Cambridge Health Alliance is an award-winning public hospital system affiliated with Harvard Medical School. In addition to providing excellent clinical care to a diverse population, and an exceptional academic environment, CHA is the birthplace of three major physician advocacy organizations: Physicians for Social Responsibility, Physicians for Human Rights, and Physicians for a National Health Program.

The CHJL also serves as the training and mentorship site for the Harvard Medical School Fellowship in General Medicine and Primary Care. This fellowship provides training in biostatistics, epidemiology and health services research and prepares fellows for careers in research, health policy, public health, medical education and health equity advocacy. For additional information on the fellowship, see: www.hmsgenmedfellowship.org.
